-Shaping Thoughts; Shifting Paradigm
Persons with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) seem to be on the blindspot in sustainable development agenda.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 1 in 160 children have autism spectrum disorder (ASD), which begins in infancy/childhood and tend to persist into adolescence and adulthood. While some people with ASD can live independently, others have severe disabilities and require lifelong care and support.
The Serrendip aims to change the perspectives of the society towards persons with autism and related disorders and bring them on the brightspot.
-Simple, Affordable, Adaptable and Accessible Solutions
The Serrendip would work towards its vision by exploring, developing and implementing the simplest solutions for the persons with autism and related disorders which are affordable, adaptable and accessible.
This will pave the way to unfold, harness and reinforce the potentials of persons with autism and related disorders and help them live a dignified life.
This mission will have an emphasis on collaborations, co-creations and convergence.
